Ketonis Developments Ltd. and Wincono Cyprus Ltd. are delighted to be the host of a delegation of OEB (Cyprus Federation of Employers & Industrialists) at the wind farm Alexigros.
Members of OEB’s “Association of Electricity Market Participants” (Σύνδεσμος Συμμετεχόντων στην Ανταγωνιστική Αγορά Ηλεκτρισμού (ΣΣΑΑΗ)), representing all the RES forms of Cyprus (wind, PV and biomass) as well as conventional power production, visited the wind farm Alexigros on the 21st of February 2019.
In view of an increased -albeit slowly growing- share of electricity production from RES, we feel that it’s very important to learn more of and get an in-depth overview on the various technologies, their advantages, opportunities, potentials but also limitations. This knowledge and understanding will be a unifying and bonding factor in view of the challenges that lie ahead with the opening of the electricity market.
